I designed this 3D model to plan my new flying wing project. A few years ago I built a flying wing that unfortunately got damaged during a move and can no longer fly. I salvaged the components from my old wing and used them as a basis for this new design, which has been tested in a virtual wind tunnel with excellent results. If you're interested in downloading it, editing it, or uploading it, go ahead - just be sure to give proper credit where due. You can also 3D print the model, but don't forget to scale it down; its wingspan is approximately 1.2 meters. The wing's sweep angle is a moderate 15 degrees, while the root and tip measurements are 180mm and 80mm respectively. I used 123D Design, Flow Design, and the Flying Wing CG Calculator (found at http://fwcg.3dzone.dk) to bring this design to life.
