RC FlightLine F8F-1 Bearcat Admiral Rx Mounting Platform

I mounted a simple platform on my FlightLine F8F-1 Bearcat RC airplane to stabilize the Admiral receiver. The platform keeps it level and secure. I cut out foam from each side of the platform and glued in small squares of 3/32" plywood that I pre-drilled to accept mounting screws. The platform works perfectly. All you need to do is secure the Rx with a velcro strap, and your RC airplane will be ready for takeoff! Note: To print this platform, use one perimeter layer and two top and bottom layers. You could reduce the infill percentage without affecting the stability of the plane. However, even at 100% infill, it adds very little weight to the airplane.
