RC EDF A330-300 Tail Section
thingiverse
Here is the tail section for a 3D printed airliner I am currently designing. Design changes daily, so these parts aren't guaranteed to be compatible with the final design. Build log available here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3117172-1-30-Scale-Airbus-A330-300-(3D-Printed) Design is based on a 2-perimeter construction approach using 0.8mm wall thickness to minimize internal support requirements. ABS is utilized as parts can be welded together with acetone, and weigh approximately 15% less than PLA. Features include: Alignment tabs for extra glue surface and easier assembly Built-in servo hatches Removable horizontal stabs All parts can be printed without supports, except Tail4. Flip fuselage parts onto the build plate so internal stiffener rings are on the build plate. A 6x4x175mm carbon tube is required for the horizontal stabs.
