rc dropper

rc dropper

This is a compact dropper that I designed to piggyback on my Horizon Whipit glider, attached to my flying wing. It functions like any standard dropper, using a servo to operate the arm and secure or release objects. This project is intended for use with my quick-release system, which can be found in my profile. To assemble this dropper: 1. A coat hanger wire (or any 0.9-inch thick wire) serves as both the hinge and the link between the servo and the tab. You can substitute a different wire for that second part if needed. To ensure the integrity of the 3D printed piece, drill a hole to accommodate the wire. 2. A 9-gram servo is required for this project. 3. Adding foam to the faces of both arms increases friction with the object being held.
