RC Drift Cones
thingiverse
These are one-tenth scale traffic cones I use with my remote control drift cars. I drew them up to include a realistic looking base for more detailed scale authenticity. Instructions: To achieve a clean sharp color transition when printing multiple colors, pause your print, quickly jog the Z axis up about thirty millimeters to disengage the hot nozzle from the part, and then swap filament colors. Next, purge approximately one hundred millimeters of old color from the extruder to ensure the new color is properly primed and ready for printing. Finally, hit the resume print button and wait for the next color transition. I printed these from Hatchbox PLA at 208 degrees Fahrenheit on a Printrbot Metal Simple using Slicer and Repetier host software. The parts were designed in AutoCAD.
