RC - Controller Enclosure
thingiverse
This enclosure is designed to house my 4x4 RC controller, enhancing its resistance to water damage. The bolt locations are tailored for my custom-built "Frankenstein" RC vehicle, but anyone can utilize this design if it suits their needs. Please be aware that this is a version one prototype, and I have not thoroughly tested the design. As I intend to print a similar enclosure for my own RC car, I anticipate making improvements at some point in the future. If you decide to try out this design, I would appreciate any feedback you can provide. I plan to print the enclosure tomorrow, as it is late where I am located. The printing will be done using a Wanhao Duplicator D7 resin printer. Two variations of the enclosure are included: one with M4 threads and another without. To generate the threaded version, I am utilizing an OpenSCAD library provided by Dan Kirshner at http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/.
