thingiverse
Hi! i am working on this project about 2 weeks its %70 finished but i am not sure if its gonna fly or not and also i dont have the rc electronics yet to try it. i am asking help and opinion to experienced RC guys there. (i never flown a rc aircraft) I calculated the empty weight (based on cura) will be around 900 grams with the standart PLA filament. wall thickness is 0.8. __NOT AYNMORE__ wing root starts with also 0.8 wall thickness. about last 30 cm to tip it turns into 0.4.__NOT AYNMORE__ wing span is 2.1 meter planning to use 9 gram micro servo. any toughts and recommendations will be appreciated i will give further information based on questions. THANKS. * <h3>EDIT 1.02.2023<h3> - Still trying to figure out the best way to make wings.and i am sharing the UNFINISHED project just for the people who are curious and maybe want to complate themselfs. Tail section is totaly ok (horizontal stabilizer, elevator rudder etc.) i printed it tested it. * <h3>EDIT 7.02.2023<h3> - changed filament PLA to ABS - Changed wing thickness to 0.4mm (one wall) - Bought cheap flysky tx/rx - %80 finished - I designed the wing and currently printing to test. - updated the project file. - put a new photo to explain print settings.
