I've tested the rim on my VRX Short Course 1:10 model (check out the picture I attached) - Next update will be enlarging the hex by about 0.2 mm and the hole by a whole millimeter. Anyway, after this nearly successful printing experience, I decided to take a shot at designing the on-road tire - maybe ninjaflex could make for a pretty good compound. This project came from my desire to run on-road tires on an 1:8 model that's similar in size to the short course 1:10. It wasn't easy finding specific rims, and my first attempt with an 17mm hex adapter didn't pan out, so I decided to give it a shot - now I've got to print and test the wheel itself. So far, it fits like a glove on the VRX short course 1:10. Next update will see me widening the hex by 0.2mm and expanding the hole of my hubs by one whole millimeter. That nearly successful printing experience convinced me to take another bite out of designing an actual on-road tire - Ninjaflex, maybe it can get the job done right?
