Hi there! I used the Modulus Gear Customizer to create my pinion and had to add a hole for a screw grub in another program. After doing this, I wanted to make some little modifications and had to repeat the process. So I took a close look at the customizer code and added some features to the existing one. Now you can generate pinion gears for 3.175mm and 5mm motor shafts, with M3 or M4 holes for screw grubs if desired, with D-shaped center holes, and also with keys as in the remixed thing. I already generated Mod1 pinions from 10 to 23 teeth using common parameters: - Center hole: for 3.17mm shafts - Gear thickness: 7 - Hub Extension: 7 - Hub diameter: from 8 to 12mm - D-Shaped center hole: no - Grub screw: M3 - Grub screw extra height: 1mm - Pressure Angle: 20 - Keyway: no If you can't generate your desired pinion within the customizer, download OpenSCAD and edit the ModulusGear_dlbMod5.scad file to your liking. Please try it out for your RC car and tell me if it works well, in what material you printed it, and if it lasts. If you find an error, please let me know ASAP too!
