RC Car Modular Timing Bridge support system for RCP Track

Hi all, this is a timing bridge system I co-developed with a friend who wanted one for some local shops and their home track. These are the side supports, the center you can use either C-Channel aluminum or PVC pipe. I'm still not sure about the sensor though if best to put under the pvc or cut out the center to allow them to be mounted inside the PVC to help block the field of view from other lanes. The Upper Block has a square hole that allows mounting a network coupler such as this one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076C1F38Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Everything should ahve a pretty tight tension fit, but you can use m2x6 self tapping screws (standard mini-z size) to hold it all together. To mount the upper box you can put a larger screw or even a bolt and nut through the larger hole from underneat to hold it to the cross brace better. I'm sure there's plenty of tweaks and all that can be done to it but for me time is always a major factor ;-) I recommend printing with a 0.8nozzle if possible just to give it extra strength. I used 0.3 layer height 2 outer walls 30% infill You shouldn't need any supports. To print the entire set you'll need to print the following: 2 left bases (30cm or 50cm) 2 right bases (30cm or 50cm) The legs depends how high off the track surface you want the cross beam. 8 legs gets it close to the recommended hieight of the iLaps system. 2 upper boxes 2 upper cross braces
