rc car chassis 1:16
myminifactory
This is a compact rc car chassis with a 165 mm wheelbase that can be easily printed using 3D printing technology. Most components, such as axles, wheels, and tires, are also created through 3D printing. In addition to electronics and motor pinion, only a few M3 bolts, nuts, and washers along with several types of ball bearings are required to complete the project. The assembly process can be viewed here: http://www.muellerr.ch/rc-car-chassis-116/ All STL files for the chassis are provided. Multiple prints are needed for several pieces, and the number of prints is indicated in the file name, such as 1x for a single print or 2x for two prints. Two gears have a tooth geometry scaled to 98 percent to provide some play. One gear is included without scaling (Gear_45_16_M0.8_100pct.stl). Two versions of the steering bar are given, one resulting in more toe-in. The following components are required: * Servo MG90S from Banggood (MG90S Metal Gear RC Micro Servo) * Motor and ESC from Banggood (Racerstar 2845 Motor Brushless Waterproof Sensorless 35A ESC Combo) * One pinion 16, 32dp, 3.175 mm from Aliexpress * Six M3x40 mm for gearbox * Two M3x25 mm for front suspension * Two M3x12 mm for rear axles * Two M3x10 mm for steering * Two M3x8 mm for motor * Four M3x6 mm with washers for steering blocks * M3 nuts * Two ball bearings 18x12x46 * One ball bearing 12x8x35 * One ball bearing 7x3x3 A car body is currently being designed to fit the chassis.
