These are two wall-mounted cradles for an RC sailboat designed to provide extra support and security. Each end features a unique profile that fits snugly against the bow and stern, taking into account the hull's distinctive shape to prevent slipping. This adaptable design allows for various sailboats of similar or larger size to be safely held in place. To enhance customization options, I've included a Sketchup file, permitting you to make any necessary modifications as desired. To achieve professional results, simply print using white ABS plastic; PLA would also yield great outcomes. A moderate 25% infill will provide sufficient support for your model. Installation is straightforward: attach the cradles securely to your wall with 1/8-inch toggle bolts. Add some extra padding by wrapping clear tubing around the boat – cutting it lengthwise will give you more flexibility. Keep in mind, you might need to expand the mounting holes slightly for a snug fit. After assembling and installing these cradles using toggle bolts, I was pleasantly surprised at their stability. In reality, they possess ample strength and would confidently support larger boats or objects without showing signs of strain, making them incredibly versatile.
