Revision Log in Misc. notesTHIS BOAT HAS A COMPART UP FRONT TO KEEP AIR IN AND WATER OUT. This has been tested with a 4-Cell 4000Ma battery and boat does not sink. FYI: Removed rear hatch and ran boat into lake until it filled up with water. The outrigger and 6 inches of the nose stayed out of the water.MAXIMUM BATTERY 4-CELL unless 6-cell body is printed. 6-Cell body is heavier and takes longer to get on plane. 6-Cell must be made of PTEG or stringer filament.PTEG whenever possible on main body and riggers. I have made a boat with PLA+ and it held together on a 4-Cell. When I went to a 6-Cell it cracked at the motor mount with PLA+ but has held up fine with PTEG and has over 30 runs on it. This is modeled after a P9 RC Rigger (Outrigger) Racing Boat. Turn fin is critical on this boat. Designed to take 7.8MM arrows cut down to 533mm (21”)Assemble the boat with medium or thick CA glue. Shown is the right turn fin templets for fabricating from .8mm aluminum or metal. Body and canopy have 2mm alignment holes to make assembly easier. I use carbon fiber as a dowel but anything from piano wire to wood will work.Outriggers have two 5mm alignment holes, 47mm and 200mm in length.
