RC Boat 540 Motor Mount Spacer

While fine-tuning an old RC boat, the engine and propeller shaft were out of sync, making it impossible to use a solid coupler without experiencing extreme vibration. A flexible coupler allowed things to run smoothly, but the engine would no longer align with the motor mount plate, so a spacer was essential. The spacer I created is 11.25mm thick and matches the 25mm hole spacing of a 540/550 size RC car/boat engine. To print it correctly, lay it on either flat side and scale the thickness accordingly to meet your needs. Following some testing, I highly recommend printing it using ABS or PETG. The originals were made from PLA, and they worked well until the engine warmed up and started to warp the spacer.
