Hi, this is the remake of a boat my teacher (J.H.) from primary school created for school competitions. The original model was made from wood. In 2019 it first saw action in primary school competitions. It performed outstandingly. GENERAL! The boat's dimensions are 36 cm. To print the boat you will need at least 450 g of red filament and 100 g of black. For electric hardware, a 2204/2205 brushless motor is recommended, along with a minimum 40A airplane esc, one 9g servo motor (SG90/MG90). Printing should be done in two pieces for the hull. I printed it with PLA filament and supports. For the motor mount, you will need some ABS filament to make it heatproof. 1. To install the shaft, ensure it is installed similarly as shown in the photos, as this angle works great with my boat. 2. Install the motor to the mount and attach it to the front hull. 3. Glue the front and rear hull together using Loctite power flex gel. After gluing all parts together, I painted it with no color varnish for a more solid and glossy finish. 4. Install the servo (SG90 or MG90) inside the boat using hot glue. 5. Glue the rudder to the rear end of the boat using two-component epoxy.
