my version of this cool build, i found the mg995 servos were causing an uncontrollable side to side wobble once i changed to mg90s that completely went away. my configuration 2x 2212 920kv motors (soon to change because my 3d printed body is too heavy for them) 2x 30a esc 2x mg90 servos kk mini 2.1.5 flight controller 3s 2200mah lipo initial testing was done with 9x5 props then with 3d printed modified 3 bladed props modified from "fixed pitch helicopter" on here video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMLhcrIWzZM note if after centering your servos they are level set the servo offset to 50, mine were not level after centering which is why my offset numbers are different, the servo offset setting makes the motor level, trimming on the radio will not correct non level motors in this configuration also the motors pivot on a piece of bowden ptfe tube instead of bearings. 4mmODx3mmID tube works perfect. i used a piece of 3mm abs stick filament as the rod for them to pivot on just melt the ends and make a plastid rivot...or you can still use a 3mm bolt but i wanted to keep as much weight off as possible settings that worked for me PID SETTINGS ROLL PG 30 PL 100 IG 20 IL 20 PITCH PG 30 PL 100 IG 20 IL 20 YAW PG25 PL 20 IG 50 IL 10 STICK SCALING ROLL 25 PITCH 30 YAW 35 THROTTLE 90 SELF LEVEL PG 100 PL 20 MIXER EDITOR CH1 throttle 100 aileron 0 elevator -100 rudder 0 offset 0 type ESC rate HIGH CH2 throttle 100 aileron 0 elevator 100 rudder 0 offset 0 type ESC rate HIGH CH3 throttle 0 aileron 60 elevator 0 rudder -60 offset 68 type SERVO rate LOW CH4 throttle 0 aileron -60 elevator 0 rudder -60 offset 40 type SERVO rate LOW
