RC Beadlock Wheels 2.2"
thingiverse
I designed these custom wheels specifically for my trial car, giving me a wide base for stability without needing oversized hubs. I chose two rim styles: one features a hex on the inside for maximum width, while the other places the hex in the center of the wheel. You can use four identical wheels or mix it up by using wider rear wheels and narrower front wheels - your choice! There are also two ring options available - a simple design and a more elaborate one with subtle lines. I experimented with color changes during printing and was pleased with the results. To assemble these custom wheels, you'll need 96 screws: M2.5 x 12mm Hex Socket Cap Head. You can find similar screws on online marketplaces like eBay (e.g., https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5mm-M2-5-x-0-45-Stainless-Steel-Hex-Socket-CAP-HEAD-Screw-DIN912-A2-70/182344640335?hash=item2a7496674f:m:m89Hy42kFBWzXMebBpI6N-w). In the photo, you'll see Proline Badlands tires in action - they fit perfectly and stay put even when you take a detour under a rock. The picture showcasing both wheels demonstrates the difference in hex placement. To print these custom wheels, simply lay them flat (the files are saved in the correct orientation).
