The objective of this Radio Control basic trainer airplane project is to design, construct, and test a low-cost, DIY, small-sized plane that can be hand-launched and land via crash. The aircraft must have dimensions under 1m in span and length, weighing less than 1kg with a wing loading of no more than 70g/dm2. Powered by a brushless engine EMAX GT2110 and propelled by a Lipo 3S 2200 mAh battery, the plane will feature three-axis control using four Hitec HS-55 servos, with a 6 CH 2.4 GHz transmitter/receiver. The airframe will be made from styrofoam and Depron, with tools including a hot wire foam cutter, blade cutter, and hot glue gun utilized in its construction.
