I'm currently constructing an RC Airplane with the fuselage crafted from a pool noodle. To complete it, I required some landing gear wheels so I sliced out discs and printed a central hub. Cut the pool noodle into 15mm thick sections. The hole in the center is precisely 3mm. I used coat hanger wire to assemble everything together. The hub fits snugly inside. I initially thought I was coming up with something unique. I came across a FliteTest video on YouTube where they accomplished the same thing eight years ago. They utilized water bottle caps as hubs instead. I believe mine look more attractive.
