RC airplane motor mount (for people who can not fly)
thingiverse
Hello everyone, I have a fantastic project to share with you, and I'd like to start by saying that I'm definitely not a natural flyer - most of my planes end up crashing on the ground! I built several planes using designs from flitetest.com - what an incredible website! I really admire their work. One of the projects I undertook was creating a tiny trainer, as featured on this article: http://www.flitetest.com/articles/flite-test-tiny-trainer. This model has a propeller at the front and is perfect for beginners - just one crash and you can bring it to a stop. I purchased another plane from hobbyking (https://hobbyking.com/nl_nl/hobbykingr-tm-mini-breeze-glider-epo-900mm-plug-and-fly.html), which is an amazing glider, and learned how to fly with it. When I came up with the idea of combining these two projects, this was the end result. The first pictures are of my plane still equipped with its old engine - although it did manage to lift off the ground, it lacked sufficient power. I've since replaced the engine, but now I need to test it out thoroughly. Print Settings: Printer: Reprap Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 40%
