I crafted this hanger to securely suspend my RC planes from the ceiling of my garage, positioning them horizontally rather than vertically. The larger model is perfectly suited for aircraft with wingspans ranging from 1.5 meters to 2 meters in length. I am currently working on designing a smaller version that will accommodate planes with wingspans between 500mm and 800mm. To construct this hanger, you will require two hooks, one base, two screws or nails, and some 1/4 inch wooden dowel. The hooks are simply pressed onto the dowel or secured with glue for added stability. Use the screws or nails to hang the base from a roof beam, then attach the hooks to the base. I am also planning to create a base that can be used to suspend planes within a room inside my house, rather than just in my garage. This design was created using Creo Parametric 3.0 software.
