RC Aircraft servo dropper (bomb drop)
thingiverse
I didn't design this, but I did download the original files from yobi3d.com. Unfortunately, that website is no longer available, so I'm making these designs accessible here. I've tried out several "bomb drop" mechanisms using servos, including those found on Thingiverse and other sources. This one stands out as a better option due to its compact size, light weight, and reliable performance. It's also easy to attach or detach from the aircraft. The server-dropper.stl file is the original version I downloaded. To create servo-dropper_v3.stl, I made some modifications to remove unnecessary supports, which allows for better compatibility with large washers used in our club's precision bombing contest. The original design features a channel that's intended to be secured with a zip tie to a strut or landing gear leg. In contrast, v3 has added "wings" with screw/bolt mounting holes for added stability and ease of use. After printing the design, you'll need to add a micro servo and connect it to an available channel on your receiver.
With this file you will be able to print RC Aircraft servo dropper (bomb drop) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on RC Aircraft servo dropper (bomb drop) .
