To run 1/10 scale wheels on 1/18 scale vehicles, install this 3mm thick hex adapter in place of the standard 8mm hex. The adapter should slide snugly onto the pin. If it doesn't fit smoothly, drill a tiny bit larger hole through its center for a secure hold when the wheel is tightened. A revised version is now available, featuring improved clearance around the wheel when it's tightly secured.
