RC 130mm Suspension Spring Sheath
thingiverse
I've previously printed the "Thrustmaster T3PA MOD" by BalonekCZ, which allows for placing a suspension element from a remote control car between the pedal and the base to increase tension required to press the pedal. It's been working well so far, but after increasing spring compression to require more force to push the pedal, I discovered that since the spring was no longer straight, it would move against the innards of the suspension arm, causing an audible - and tactile click as the spring moved past that point. This is where the sheath comes in. It simply pops over the top of the spring as it's mounted, forcing the spring to stay straight with the shaft of the suspension. By doing so, it can no longer click against the shaft, resulting in a much smoother operation for me at least.
