RC 1/14 Dolly

Hi Everyone, I'm excited to share my DIY Dolly project for my RC 1/14 Truck. To get started, design a good portion of the dolly yourself, as I did. Please note that you'll also need four arms from Thingiverse and four washers, which are included in the print files. You can find the required leaf springs on eBay or purchase them separately. Additionally, gather a good portion of screws and parts from a 1/14 trailer to complete the project. For reference, see the image on parts. I used a combination of 3mm screws, nuts, and hot glue in my build. I've also included snapshots of the Tamiya manual, which provides detailed instructions on assembling the parts. Keep in mind that the first rail is 20CM (200mm) long, as this was the maximum print length of my DaVinci 1.0 3D Printer. On a related note, please note that you'll need to drill holes where necessary to assemble the dolly. I've uploaded photos of the completed dolly before painting and finishing touches. Print Settings: Printer: DaVinci 1.0 3D Printer Rafts: No Supports: I only used rafts on the support piece How To Build: Take a 20CM (200MM) rail and a 40MM rail, then attach them using two connecting plates. You can use glue or screws – I chose to glue mine in place. Next, take two support plates and add the parts from the trailer, placing them wherever you prefer on the railing. Remember to drill holes where necessary. You'll also need four washers if you're using 3D printed arms, which require four arms in total. Add as many support parts as you can fit, then attach a rear top piece to the end of the 200MM rail. Take two 50MM rails and one support part, and screw or glue them together. Glue or screw the 50MM piece to the end of the 200MM rail, where the top piece is located. Attach the connecting bar to the front (the 40MM piece) and add the top with connector piece between the 40MM and 200MM rails. Use the connecting light plug for your truck's wiring, and finally, connect the hitch to the hitch board using 3mm screws.
