Really Big Light Rebar Base Mount / Upright Position [Part 2 of 2] As this is a working prototype, I welcome your suggestions and ideas to improve it. To achieve a cleaner print without any support, I decided to split the mount into two parts. Initially, I tried printing it as one complete part with support, but the cleanup process took some time. By dividing it into two sections, I was able to print each part more efficiently, resulting in a much cleaner finish after gluing them together. The top section is designed for easy installation of pixel modules or other mounted lights by sliding it into a 1/2" piece of PVC tubing. This design is intended to be placed on top of a 3/8" rebar rod. It also features a built-in rebar mount screw housing at the bottom, which accommodates a #10-32 x 3/4" screw. This ensures that the "Really Big Light" remains securely attached to the rebar without compromising its functionality.
