RBES heavy duty hinge

This hinge was designed for use as part of a 3D printer enclosure. Russian speakers can find more information here: http://jimblog.me/?p=23660. However, like most hinges, this one has many uses beyond its original purpose. The metal insert, or hinge axle (part 2), was created from a copper coupler used for 1/2 inch copper plumbing pipes. This type of coupler can usually be found at local hardware stores and does not require any modifications. If you don't have access to such couplers or prefer not to use them, the design file is available for printing. Three of these hinges with copper inserts are able to hold a 30 pound weight in place. Testing has only been done with copper inserts; using 3D printed inserts has not been attempted.
