Razor Scraper Cover (EZ-Snap)
thingiverse
I adore AdanA's EZ-Snap Razor Blade Handle, yet due to my pets, I discovered that leaving them uncovered isn't a wise decision. Therefore, I designed this cover after investing some hours in SolidWorks. The cover aligns seamlessly with the handle as it snaps onto the blade - just insert the front into the groove and snap down. When inserted, the base of the cover sits flush with the handle bottom, making it simple to attach it to flat surfaces using double-sided tape. Perhaps I'll create a version with holes for easier mounting. I also added the original SolidWorks file for those interested in customizing it further. Printing is straightforward since the entire base sits on the bed and there are no bridges or overhangs beyond 45 degrees. To accommodate EZ-Snap Blades, I print handles at 102.5% scale, so scaling down to 97.6% would be suitable for regular-sized handles. For storage, I have it taped on my Printrbot's side for easy access, but you can place it anywhere you prefer.
