Razor Holder/Rack (Safety Razor)
thingiverse
I recently decided to go old school and try using a safety razor. To keep my countertop dry and clean, I designed this rack to hold the razor securely in place. It also gives me a convenient spot to store it when not in use. I created three versions of the rack, each tailored to accommodate different handle lengths. The West Coast Shaving Multi Titanium 84M is shown in the photos. The version I printed and photographed features a concave dish that didn't quite meet my expectations, so I revised it to a countersunk design. Feel free to modify the STL file as you see fit – I've even included custom designs like Pepe the Frog and Doge for your enjoyment. This print doesn't require supports, but it does come in two pieces. The top piece fits snugly into a locator pin on the tower, providing a secure friction fit that works well without glue (although you may want to add some for added security). I've only printed and used the 90mm version so far, and while it works great, I wish it had more weight at the bottom to prevent slipping. A command strip or dab of hot glue should fix this issue. Happy printing!
