Razor-Clamp
thingiverse
I widened the hole size after my wife discovered a razor with an even larger handle. I also reinforced the stem to prevent breakage, following the incident where one of these models failed under stress. This design was born out of necessity - my wife's suction cup style razor holder kept falling in the shower. After researching alternative solutions, I found that existing designs either wouldn't work with our shower or didn't fit her razor. Drawing inspiration from the monster headphone holder concept, I created a custom solution tailored to her needs. To ensure successful printing, I printed this design upside down and used a raft, as the central hole tended to detach from the heated bed otherwise. It's crucial to employ supports for proper printing; omitting them may result in a failed print. Additionally, I opted for a high infill percentage - 80% or higher - due to the clamp's susceptibility to breaking under the torque exerted by the screw. If you apply too much pressure, an infill of 60% might suffice; however, 80-100% offers optimal results.
