Trapezoidal razor blade holder designed based on the model by paradiddle65 from thingiverse.com/thing:36722. While the original design excelled, two minor flaws necessitated adjustments. Firstly, the large central screw in middle held entire assembly together but permitted ends to separate slightly due to improper alignment. Secondly, tolerances set for locking channels were too lax. Modifications introduced include replacing single center screw with dual M3x16mm fasteners and redefining material reduction zone as internal storage compartment capable of housing up to five razor blades simultaneously, thus diminishing overall filament required to print holder. Holder dimensions were broadened by 5mm from initial design specifications for easy incorporation of new screws. NOTE: Tightening the locking channel tolerances beyond expectations results in assembly requiring light sanding to edges prior to attachment, although this problem gradually dissipates upon use. UPDATED : Version 2 features include relaxing of previously stringent locking channel tolerances alongside additional structural elements such as an added handle edge radius of 1.5mm and subtle notch denoting separation point. UPDATED: Experimental Screwless version utilizes the original tighter locking channel tolerances accompanied by embedded indicators revealing safe points for inserting fasteners should needed. Other notable changes remain intact from previous model Version 2, including storage compartment feature. NOTE: The present design was conceived and constructed solely through theoretical application and has not undergone physical trial or evaluation; however based on previous models performance, its feasibility is predicted albeit potential necessity of introducing stabilizing mechanisms via additional fasteners indicated by placement of safe-point markers upon initial attachment.
