Razor Bath
thingiverse
My brother asked me to create a holder for his razor. The idea is that when you store the razor in baby oil, it displaces water and oxygen so the blade doesn't rust and even cheap razors will stay sharp longer. This design was made specifically for disposable razors. It should fit most models. I added a removable grid to let any debris in the razor settle out and make cleanup easier. The latest version of the razor holder is designed to hang on a shower enclosure. It uses the same grid as before. Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20-30 Notes: I made the solid layers thicker to prevent potential leaks, just in case. The hanging version needs supports. Custom Section: A note about material: I tested several types of materials, including standard PLA, high temp PLA, PETG, and ABS. I found that sometimes PLA and PETG don't leak, but everything I made from ABS was leak-tight. If you plan to use oil, I recommend using ABS as the material choice. But in any case, test your print with your oil to check for leakage.
