Razer Seirēn boom swivel hinge
thingiverse
Tilt / swivel mount for a Razer Seirēn microphone, designed to fit any boom with a 3/8" 16 thread, such as a Rode mic arm. OpenSCAD files included allow users to create other thread profiles, like 1/4" 20, for common camera tripod threads. **Read the print instructions** The `boom hinge.stl` file is blank and contains no threads, but can be used with the OpenSCAD `booleanthreads.scad` library if you need a different size thread. If the included 3/8" 16 thread doesn't print at the correct size, use this method. The `threads.scad` file is a thread library used to create the threads and is included for convenience. The `screw knob.stl` file is designed for gluing onto an M6 bolt with a 5mm hex drive and 10mm head diameter, making it easier to turn. **Update 7/11/17:** A "v2" FreeCAD file has been added, which includes the `nut knob`, a similar design to the `screw knob` but for an external hex bolt 10mm flat to flat. The parts do not have fancy chamfers or fillets, and may appear unattractive in CAD images. However, due to ABS printing with "soft" edges, the printed pieces will not look as ugly. Source files are included if you want to add your own fancy edges.
