Razer Phone 2 - iOttie Wireless Windshield Mount - Spacer
thingiverse
So I received my Razer Phone 2 a few days ago and while it's an excellent phone, it comes with its own set of issues. The RGB logo on the back indicates that the wireless qi charging coil is positioned lower than expected. This means this phone won't work with most wireless charging mounts. To resolve this problem, I came up with a solution: a custom spacer. The Razer Phone 2 sits atop this spacer, which aligns it perfectly for seamless charging. After measuring the coil in both the phone and the mount, I found that the former was positioned 30mm from its bottom edge while the latter's coil was placed 45mm from the bottom hooks. To compensate for this discrepancy, I designed a spacer to elevate the phone by 15mm, allowing it to charge without any issues. I printed the spacer using my Ender 3 and PETG filament, which offers better temperature resistance for Texas weather conditions. The spacer fits semi-tightly onto the mount but is still loose. To fix this, you could either print it slightly smaller or make it permanent with some glue.
