Razer Naga Trinity Mouse Feet / Skates

<p>I wanted to clean one of my buttons on the inside of the mouse but I didn't want to spend the money buying new skates which are anywhere from $5-$15 depending on quality.<br><br>I had the idea that I could 3d print them and then sand them down to be smooth and shiny so that's exactly what I did and it works like a charm! (please excuse the gunky-smudgyness on the bottom of the mouse, the skate iteration process was ugly to say the least)<br>&nbsp;<br>I started with 1mm height on the skates and had them fully finished and glued down and I was happy with the results but felt like my cursor movements weren't registering sometimes.<br>So I bumped that down to 0.5mm print height and now it works perfectly.&nbsp;<br><br>I added the holes so that the mouse can still be opened without needing to remove the skates, I used JB kwik weld to put them on as that was what i had near me but you could use a number of different things to secure them.<br><br>For the sanding and polishing I used a 1000 grit sandpaper to get a completely even surface, for my best finish I also used 2500 and 3000 grit after but those arent needed.<br>I then used some foam nail filers/polishers to get the shiny plastic surface I was looking for.<br><br>Sanding them was difficult to do because of the lack of grip so I made crude handles to sand them with. If you apply masking tape to both parts and then add superglue between them they will become bonded without ruining the print. Highly recommend doing that.&nbsp;<br><br>If you make this please share your experience because I would like to know if there are any techniques to get an even smoother finish!&nbsp;</p>
