Razer Kishi Dpad Mod
thingiverse
Razer Kishi Dpad pivot mod. Printed Solution to the "Tape Mod" for the dpad. 3 thicknesses to choose from. Personally the .4 thickness seems to be the sweet spot for me. Tested with TPU but see no reason why PLA, PETG or some other material wouldnt work. Requires opening the controller shell. Do this mod at your own risk as I take no responsibility for damage. Tools required 2.0 Tri Wing screwdriver - for controller shell 1.0 Phillips head screwdriver - for controller board Plastic pry bar or similar to split the shell These can be found in some expanded precision tool kits Instructions **Not Pictured** There are 5 tri wing screws on the external case. 4 long and 1 short. Be mindful of thier location for reassembly. You will need to pry the shell apart with the plastic pry bar. You can also use a fine flat screwdriver as well but could damage the shell. **Pictured** Be mindful of the ribbon cable when splitting the shell and carefully lay the two halves face up. Next remove the 4 screws marked in the picture. These are phillips head screws. Be very careful lifting this board up as there are wires connected to the L1 button and you could accidentally pull them out. **Pictured** Place printed piece as shown and reassemble **Note** This is the Xbox version of the Kishi. Not sure if there are any significant difference but still noted. So far it feels pretty good but may tweak the idea as I continue to play/test
