Razer Kishi Brace - Pixel 4a DBrand Case
thingiverse
Razer Kishi support brace intended to replace the internal rubber inserts used for device support. The original rubber inserts are not big enough for most devices with protective cases, especially my Pixel 4a with DBrand case. The original design lacked adequate space for this device and case combination and also did not allow the usb-c plug to reach fully into the device's port. If you do not have this exact device and case, note that this design provides a device clearance of 75mm x 12.7mm. Only the one file is needed for either side of the Kishi as the slots on each side are the same dimensions. ______________________________________________ This brace adds side support to the device, filling the gaps present when ujsing the Kishi without the rubber spacers, effectively allowing the Pixel 4a with DBrand case to slot into the device while eliminating the z-axis movement present when the rubber spacers are removed. This should allow the device to be used more comfortably as the phone won't slide around inside the grip so much. I wanted to add an additional design to eliminate the y-axis movement that risks damage to the usb-c ports when flexed too hard, however due to a lack of space present in the Kishi device slots, no reinforcement could be added. Potential solutions would require reliance on adhesive or drilling into the Kishi.
