I had custom keycaps made for me that used the plus-shaped connector (I believe it's the standard Cherry MX connector). However, my keyboard the Razer Cynosa V2 has a unique keycap design that made it impossible for me to use my custom keycaps. 2 days of trial and error and the lowest level of blender knowledge possible has created this! It's not perfect, but it makes the custom keys work!
