Hopscotch is an experimental novel penned by Julio Cortazar in 1963, defying conventional narrative structures with its unique chapter sequence system. The author presents two predetermined paths for readers to follow, but leaves the creative freedom of reordering chapters entirely up to them, challenging readers to keep track of their progress. Conceived decades ago as a thought experiment called Rayuelomatic, this innovative device has finally taken shape. Roni Bandini's technical expertise and ingenuity brought the electronics to life, while Ricardo Lerch designed the custom 3D-printed casing that houses the machinery.
