The Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses case prototype is designed to be slim yet sturdy, addressing the shortcomings of either soft cases that protect against scratches but not impact or bulky ones that are five times the size of the glasses. It snugly holds the eyewear and allows easy removal without a lid (which might not be necessary). A clip variation is planned for future iterations, with a 3mm brim printed to enhance adhesion. The four-hour print duration on a Solidoodle 3 could benefit from accurate filament width settings to avoid fragility.
