RAWR! (First 3D Model)
thingiverse
I'm excited to be trying my hand at modeling for the very first time, aside from those initial calibration prints that got me started with this whole 3D printing thing. I used Fusion 360 to create it all, and here are the print settings I chose: Printer: My trusty Prusa i3 MK2 (Kit) does the heavy lifting. Rafts: I skipped rafts altogether, as I wanted a clean finish on this model. Supports: Of course, I included supports where needed - you can't have too much stability in a 3D print! Resolution: I opted for a resolution of 0.15 millimeters to really bring out the fine details in my design. Infill: And finally, I chose an infill percentage of 25% to give my model some serious structural integrity while keeping it relatively lightweight.
