Ravioli Roller

Ravioli Roller

Ravioli rollers for making 28m or 40mm ravioli. I got the idea after seeing a wooden roller on sale for $149. I walked right pasta it. I decided to extrude one myself because I kneaded the dough. After all, a penne saved is a penne earned. I'd recommend using a food-safe PLA or similar material. You can print the rollers fairly hollow. Roll out a sheet of dough. Dust the area under the dough sheet lightly with flour. Spread your filling along half of the dough. Fold the dough over the filling lengthwise. Press down on the ravioli roller and roll lengthwise from the creased end to the open end. Cut and seal them with a ravioli stamp cutter. You can normally find one for around $8. Be sure to use a mat or cutting board for this step, as stamp cutters can be sharp and may mess up your table. Finally, cook them and subject your friends to lots of cheesy puns. Oh yeah, I want to say, just in case somebody new to 3D printing is reading this: 3D printed items are almost NEVER DISHWASHER SAFE! Just handwash them. Learn from my mistakes! Somebody should. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
