Ravenclaw(-esque) Crest

I am working on several projects simultaneously, one of which requires a 3D representation of the Ravenclaw crest that I have created. The initial image came from the Pottermore site, which I appreciate for providing it. Print Settings Printer: XYZ daVinci 1.0 Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layers / 0.4mm nozzle Infill: 15% Notes: I printed this in ABS plastic material. My printer of choice is a daVinci 1.0 Pro, and the XYZWare software took about two hours to slice this model. How I Designed This The initial image was gathered from the web, specifically from the Pottermore fan forum's "Colour your own crest" image found at http://www.ficforums.com/index.php?topic=37781.0. The black and white image lends itself better than a colored image to 3D transformation. I had to remove some detail, recreate parts of the image as separate images, add depth to the images, and then recombine them into the 3D model. It was a time-consuming process indeed.
