My son Linus, who is six years old, wanted to print something he had designed on his own. So we sat down at the computer and started TinkerCad. He had never worked with a laptop mouse before, but he was very motivated! With a little guidance and some tips, his small caterpillar "came to life," which he now wants to show you! The caterpillar is certainly designed quite simply, but it's also Linus' first try, and we think the design is really great. The caterpillar is about 86mm long, 24mm wide, and with its feelers, about 42mm high. With a layer height of 0.15mm and a printing speed of 60mm/s, it takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes to print and consumes approximately 13g of PLA (or 4.44m with 1.75mm). Happy printing!
