'RATZ' are a fun print that quickly becomes a serious obsession. It's incredibly easy to end up with a 'RATZ' infestation at home, in the office, or even in your car. Two options are available for printing these little critters. The 'Biting RATZ' file springs into action when you press its tail and, printed correctly (with 3 shells and 50% infill or more), it bites with a surprising force! The other option is the static 'RATZ' model, which lacks any moving parts. This file can be printed with just two layers and 10-15% infill because it doesn't need to be strong enough to make it springy and sturdy like the 'Biting RATZ'. At standard size, 'RATZ' are about 85mm tall. They print beautifully in PLA on Makerbot's machines (as seen in the images). They should also print well in PLA on most accurately set up printers. However, be warned that the design uses extreme angles that might pose a challenge for ABS. Also note that some slicing apps and machines may struggle with the fine tolerances, angles, and details of this design. No supports are needed. 'RATZ' are just plain fun... if you print one, you'll likely end up printing many more. The designs have been thoroughly tested and refined multiple times (as shown in the images)... so why not get started and infest your space with some 'RATZ'?
