RATZ

Ratz are a blast to print, but they can quickly become addictive. Before long, your house is overrun with Ratz. There are two options for printing these little critters. The Biting Ratz file opens its mouth when you press the tail, and it has a great bite when printed well - especially with 3 shells or more than 50% infill. The Ratz file is a static model without any moving parts. You can print this one with just two shells and 10-15% infill since it doesn't need to be as strong as the Biting Ratz file. At standard size, Ratz are about 85mm tall. They print great in PLA on Makerbot's machines (as shown in the images). With a well-set-up accurate machine, they should also print well in PLA. However, keep in mind that the design features extreme angles that might be challenging for ABS. Some slicing apps and machines may struggle with the fine tolerances, angles, and detail in this design. No supports are required. Ratz are fun, but once you start printing one, it's hard to stop. These designs have been test printed multiple times to refine them (as shown in the images). Get started and see your house or office overrun with Ratz!
