My Rattmmotor 3018 laser adapter I bought a Rattmmotor 3018 Pro. It came with the spindle and a 5.5w laser. The laser measures 32X32mm’s and it fits into the spindle mount. I bought a 10w laser that measures 40X40mm’s. It would not fit down the spindle hole so I had to make an adapter for it. I bought a Laser Tree Laser Module 80w, 10w Optical Power with air assist. I didn’t have to modify the main carriage in any way. This adapter fits into the spindle hole and the 10w laser will bolt to the adapter. My 10w laser has a bunch of mounting holes on the back side and I chose the two 5mm holes. I used two 5X10mm button head screws. Be careful about screwing in a screw that is too long. You don’t want it to bottom out in the laser and start pushing on things. I lose about 60mm’s of offset with this adapter, that’s the drawback. I can place the laser front and center or off to either side. When it is front and center I lose 60mm’s in the Y axis and it’s only 180 total. So I swung it to the side where I have 300mm’s in the X axis. I dug out a little groove between the two mounting holes to make room for the bolt on the spindle carriage so I can loosen the bolt a little bit and swing this adapter around to wherever I want it then re tighten the bolt. https://youtube.com/shorts/N2DzqHIVYA8?feature=share Printed in ABS .2 layer 25% infill no rafts, brims, or supports
