Rattle Trap Fishing Lure

I'm currently working on another fishing lure, a Rattle Trap Lip Less type. So far, I've only tested it with an ultralight pole, and it's been a bit unpredictable. To get the balance right, I added more weight to the front section by increasing its size, and moved the tie point slightly back since these photos were taken. Now, I need to create a new one and test it again using a full-sized, stiffer pole to confirm my findings. I used #6 Treble Hooks and #2 Split Rings on this lure. ###Updates### **7-26-17**: After adjusting the weight distribution, the sweet spot for balance seems to be 22 BBs in the front section and 8 in the rattle section. **7-27-17**: I tested the new version this morning, and it's swimming great now with the updated weight counts and placement.
