Rattle Reel
thingiverse
Here is a project for building a rattle reel for ice fishing. Hardware: - Two bearings, each measuring 16 millimeters by 5 millimeters, with an inner diameter of 5 millimeters - Four screws, M4x12, used as SHCS - One small bell or ball bearing for creating the rattling sound To create the spool, cut a piece of flat steel stock and secure it using a bolt, nylon washer, wing nut. How you attach this to your fish house will depend on your specific needs. The tension in the reel cannot be adjusted while fishing unless you have a set of hex key wrenches with you.
