My first attempt at creating a custom x-carriage hotend mount for my RatRig V-Core printer features a precision piezo screw mount and an M10 push fit. I've chosen to pair it with an E3D v6 hotend, which has proven to be a reliable and high-performance option. To provide additional support for the piezo components, I've added a small pcb holder that can be screwed directly to the front of the carriage. This design allows for easy installation and secure mounting of the pcb. The entire assembly was printed in PETG, a durable and flexible material that's well-suited for functional parts like this hotend mount.
